Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confessions) 

• Sunday: Following our 9 a.m. Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland. No Confessions on April 5, 2026.

• Saturday: Following our 4 p.m. Mass at St. Peter at the Lake in McHenry. No Confessions on April 5, 2026. Please note there is no Mass at the Lake Center on April 4. See "Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday" below.

• Wednesday: Following our noon Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland until April 1 this Lent. 

• By appointments Monday - Thursday. Please contact the office.

Adoration*

• First Sunday of the Month following our 9 a.m., Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland

• Saturdays Only, Feb 21-March 21 following our 4 p.m., Mass at St. Peter at the Lake in McHenry

• Monday-Thursday: 12:30-1:30 p.m., following our Noon Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland

• Wednesdays: 6-8 p.m. with the Holy Rosary and Benediction at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland

*If a Priest or Deacon is not available for Benediction, Simple Adoration will be offered. If you are not joining us for Adoration, kindly remain reverent in the presence of our Lord as you leave the building. Thank you.

Devotions & Dinner Series ~ Fridays Only, February 20-March 27, in Oakland

Join our Mission Teams for our annual Lenten Devotions & Dinner in the Church on Fridays during Lent, February 20 - March 27 (2026). Pray the Holy Rosary with us at 3 p.m. and the Stations of the Cross at 3:30 p.m. Our Fish Dinner team will be ready for us next door at our Parish Center Hall at 4:30 p.m.

Special Veneration of the Cross and Relic of the True Cross of Christ 

On Friday, March 27, we will once again host the relic of the True Cross of Christ immediately following our Stations of the Cross, which will be led by the Knights of Columbus, Council 1771. Make plans with your family and friends to join us for this Special Veneration of the Cross to close our Lenten Devotions & Dinner Series in Oakland.

Palm Sunday ~ Masses in McHenry and Oakland

• Saturday, March 28: Mass at 4 p.m. followed by Confessions at St. Peter at the Lake in McHenry.

• Sunday, March 29: Mass at 9 a.m. followed by Confessions at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland

Holy Week ~ All at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland

• Monday, March 30: Communion Service at noon followed by Simple Adoration until 1:30 p.m. 

• Tuesday, March 31:  Communion Service at noon followed by Simple Adoration until 1:30 p.m. 

• Wednesday, April 1: Mass at noon followed by *Confessions and Simple Adoration until 1:30 p.m. *This is the final opportunity for Confessions until after Easter.

• Wednesday, April 1: Adoration and The Holy Rosary, 6-8 p.m. 

The Paschal Triduum

Holy Thursday ~ April 2 ~ at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland 

• Mass of Our Lord’s Last Supper at 7 p.m. followed by Eucharistic Procession to the Parish Center Hall.

Friday of the Passion of The Lord (Good Friday) ~ April 3

• Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m. at St. Peter at the Lake in McHenry.

• Veneration of the Cross w/Communion Service at 7 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland.

Holy Saturday ~ April 4

• The Great Easter Vigil Mass at 7 p.m. at the Church in Oakland with Bishop Adam Parker.

• There is no Mass at the Lake Center today.

Easter Sunday of  The Resurrection of The Lord ~ April 5

• The Mass of Easter Day at 9 a.m. at the Church in Oakland.

• The Mass of Easter Day at Noon at St. Peter at the Lake in McHenry.
