St. Peter the Apostle Church: our historic church is located at 208 S. Fourth Street in Oakland.
Parish Center: located next to our Church in Oakland (Parish Office, Chapel, and classrooms: lower level; Hall, upper level - events)
St. Peter at the Lake Center: located at 1140 Mosser Road in McHenry.
Note: Our Parish Office is closed Friday-Sunday and holidays. Kindly call 301-334-2202 to confirm weekday Mass schedules.

Weekly and Monthly Recurring Events

Weekend Masses: 1) Saturday at 4PM at St. Peter at the Lake in McHenry, 2) Sunday at 9AM at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Oakland, and 3) Sunday at 11AM at St. Peter at the Lake in McHenry (Memorial Day - Labor Day Weekends). The Holy Rosary is prayed 30 minutes before these Masses and Confessions are offered after Mass. The Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is offered during our Sunday Mass in Oakland, September - May.
Weekday Masses: *Monday - Thursday at noon and Simple Eucharistic Adoration from 12:30-1:30PM at the Church in Oakland. Opportunities for Confessions will be available after the noon Mass on Wednesday. *Note: If a priest is not present Monday-Thursday, a Communion Service will be held and Confessions will not be available.
Friday Communion Service and Simple Adoration, Divine Mercy Chaplet and Holy Rosary: Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary at 3PM with Bill Schrider and Friends in the Parish Center Hall (or, weather permitting, on the porch) in Oakland. NEW: Communion Service and Simple Eucharistic Adoration at noon in the Oakland Church, each Friday including monthly First Friday Devotions.
Weekly Holy Hour and Eucharistic Adoration: NEW - Wednesdays from 7-8PM Holy Hour and Eucharistic Adoration, at St. Peter at the Lake in McHenry.
Weekly Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confessions): Wednesdays following our noon Mass in Oakland. Saturdays following our 4PM Mass in McHenry. Other times are available in Oakland, Monday-Thursday by appointment. Please contact the office to schedule an appointment.
First Sunday Eucharistic Adoration: Monthly Sunday Eucharistic Adoration, Immediately after the 9AM Mass (10-11AM) in the Church, Oakland. Conflicting events may necessitate rescheduling. Dates may be rescheduled.
Friday Rosary Group: Join Bill Schrider and Friends to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary for the Souls in Purgatory and special intentions at 3 p.m., at our Parish Center Hall in Oakland. All are welcome!
