Gather with us to bless, honor and remember all first responders of Allegany and Garrett Counties. A reception, hosted by our Ladies Auxiliary, will follow Mass next door at our Parish Center Hall.

Additional 25th Anniversary Commemorative Opportunities at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Parish - Oakland

In memory of all victims and the brave men and women who selflessly responded to serve on 9/11, our Oakland church bells will ring 25 times beginning at 8:46AM - the time of the first attack on America at the World Trade Centers in New York City, 25 years ago.
And, at noon, we will celebrate our weekly Communion Service followed by Simple Adoration in the Oakland Church, and Bill Schrider and Friends will gather on the porch or inside the Parish Center Hall at 3PM to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Holy Rosary.
Wherever you are on September 11, begin and end the day in prayer.
Pray for peace for those who perished and for all who survived.
Pray for an end to all violence and acts of terrorism throughout the world.
