Annual Parish Picnic

2026 Annual Parish

UPDATE: Due to the forecast, our food service and most of our activities will be held inside the Parish Center Hall this year. Please join us and bring a lawn chair if you'd like to relax and chat outside. Pray for a break in the rain, 12:30-2:30PM.

Make plans to join us for our annual parish picnic as we launch a year-long celebration of the 175th anniversary of the founding of our parish in Garrett County, MD!

Our Kids Zone will be hosted by The Morel Family and there will be plenty of fellowship opportunities and fun entertainment for the whole family. 

Our food service will be hosted by our Knights and Ladies Auxiliary. Our Knights will be grilling hotdogs and hamburgers and we’ll be voting on our favorite potluck appetizers, side dishes and desserts, so please consider helping us build our menu and contribute your favorite picnic recipes. Thank you!!!

If you did not RSVP, and you are able, kindly bring a consider bringing a side dish to share and join us!

Come prepared to share your treasured memories and faith formation stories of our parish. We'll have scribes available to capture your story (in "175" words or fewer) for our 175th Anniversary ~ "Legacy of Faith Sharing at St. Peter the Apostle Parish." 

If you aren't able to join us at the picnic, please contact the office for alternative ways to share your story.
